Jackie Fairweather had a successful career as a fitness instructor and personal trainer. Following injuries sustained in a car accident in 1995 she was unable to continue down her chosen career path.

The next year while living in Belgium she was introduced to Five Element Acupuncture to help with pain relief and regain movement in her shoulder, injured in the car accident.  As a result of acupuncture she achieved freedom from pain and regained movement. In addition, many emotional  issues were addressed. 

After this successful treatment and with her ongoing interest in fitness and health,  Jackie decided to train as an acupuncturist. “I wanted to share with others the level of well being that acupuncture can achieve, and the healthier outlook on life that it introduces from which I have benefited.” 

After a three year intensive course, Jackie became a fully qualified and licensed acupuncturist in May 2002.  She treated many patients in her final year at college and then set up a busy practice in Egham, Surrey, before relocating to West Kirby with her family in 2003. Jackie practices from the Corner House Clinic in West Kirby town centre and treats patients from the Wirral, Cheshire and Merseyside. In 2009 she became a founding member of the Zita West Network for Reproductive Health, as an Affiliated Acupuncturist. This affiliation augments Jackie's skills in Acupuncture for Pregnancy.

Jackie Fairweather is a member of The British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and abides by the BAcC’s codes of ethics and safe practice. These cover strict requirements with regard to hygiene and the disposal of needles and other equipment. Only disposable single‑use sterile needles are used.  

All members of the BAcC are covered by a Medical Malpractice and Public Liability insurance.
